not need to do our will, but that of God is a grace that the Lord has taught us to ask every day in prayer. But then, I ask, why we pray and we ask that the kingdom of heaven, if he continues to like the imprisonment of the earth? Since the world hates Christians, because you love those who hate you and do not quite follow Christ, who redeemed you and loves you? John cries in his letter to urge us not to love the world, going back to the desires of the flesh. "Do not love the world, tells us or the things in the world. If anyone loves the world, the love of the Father is not in him, because everything is in the world is the lust of the flesh, lust of the eyes and the pride of life.
And the world passes away and the lust thereof: but he that doeth the will of God abides forever "(1 Jn 2:15-16). Rather, dear brethren, with a calm mind, unwavering faith and great spirit, we are ready to do the will of God driven the fear of death, immortality think that it opens. We must consider and often think that we have renounced the world and in the meantime we dwell here only as visitors and pilgrims. Accepted with joy the day that gives each of us to our true home, the day after having freed from these bonds of the century, gives us free to paradise and the eternal kingdom. Those who find themselves far from home, in no hurry to return? Our homeland is not that heaven. There awaits us a large number of our loved ones, we want our parents, siblings, children in festive and joyous company, now sure of his own happiness, but still apprehensive about our salvation. Watching them, embrace them all: that common joy for them and for us! What a delight in that heavenly kingdom not to fear death anymore, and that live in eternal happiness!
There is the glorious choir of apostles, prophets of the host jubilant: there the army of innumerable martyrs, crowned with glory to have won the fight and resist in torment; triumphant virgins, who won the lust of the flesh and body with the virtue of continence, there are rewarded are the merciful, who exercised charity, nurturing and helping the poor in various ways, and so they observed the Lord's commandments, and with earthly riches, would provide the heavenly treasures. Let us hasten with all the enthusiasm to reach the company of these blessed. God sees our thought about it in our minds, our faith, we can see Christ, who will award, in his love, more prizes to those who have had him a most ardent desire.
